    Choose the ZT411 if
    • You print shipping, warehouse or product labels in high volumes
    • Space and weight matter: it is about 6 kg lighter and 72 mm lower
    • At 203 or 300 dpi you print short labels from 12.7 mm in tear-off mode (the ZT610 needs 18 mm)
    • You want linerless labels or a 25 mm core media hanger
    Choose the ZT610 if
    • The printer runs 24/7 in production or in dusty, harsh conditions
    • You print at 300 or 600 dpi and need the speed: 305 mm/s and 152 mm/s
    • You use narrow labels and ribbons from 20 mm
    • You want Gigabit Ethernet and more on-board memory
    • You may later need 6-inch labels: the ZT620 shares the same platform

    What both printers share

Daily handling is very similar. You load labels from the side; the ribbon is coated on the outside and wraps directly onto the take-up spindle, which you empty with the ribbon release knob. Both use the Print wizard on the touch display, calibrate from Print › Sensors › Manual Calibration, print ZPL and use Zebra's ZDesigner Windows driver. Both also fall under Zebra's EU security setup: with Ethernet and Bluetooth as standard, units placed on the EU market from 1 August 2025 use a Protected Mode password and a front-panel PIN.

    The 6-inch versions

Each printer has a wider sibling with 168 mm print width. The ZT421 takes media 51–178 mm wide at up to 305 mm/s. The ZT620 takes media 51–180 mm wide and ribbon 51–170 mm, at up to 305 mm/s at 203 dpi and 203 mm/s at 300 dpi. See ZT411 vs ZT421 for the ZT400 pair.
