The CipherLab 2564 is a cordless, business-rugged Bluetooth® handheld 2D imager scanner – it reads all common 1D and 2D barcodes, including QR codes, from paper labels as well as phone screens, up to 100 m away from its base. Part of CipherLab's business-rugged 2500 series, it is IP65 sealed against dust and water jets and withstands multiple 1.8 m drops onto concrete – a reliable choice for retail checkouts, receiving and shipping, inventory checks and work-in-process tracking. This version, A2564S2WKU0E2, is the Bluetooth kit with USB connection: it is supplied with the battery, the Bluetooth base (charging and communication cradle), a USB cable and a power supply – everything you need to start scanning cordlessly.

Key Features

• Reads 1D and 2D barcodes – the 1280 × 800 CMOS imager with warm white LEDs reads all common 1D codes plus QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF417, Aztec, MaxiCode and Han Xin Code – on labels, documents and phone screens – with a resolution down to 3 mil (1D) and 5 mil (2D).
• Bluetooth® 4.0 dual mode – up to 100 m line-of-sight range with the Bluetooth base (up to 7 scanners per base) or direct pairing with PCs, tablets and smartphones (HID, SPP, BLE/GATT); a 4 MB memory stores scans while you are out of range.
• High-capacity removable battery – a 3000 mAh Li-ion battery for full-shift operation; an optional single-slot charger (with spare battery) is available separately.
• Business-rugged – IP65 sealed against dust and water jets, withstands multiple 1.8 m drops onto concrete and 1,000 tumbles, with enhanced ESD protection (±10 kV contact, ±20 kV air).
• Hands-free scanning – in auto-sense mode, the scanner reads barcodes automatically when placed in the optional adjustable stand.
• Easy setup – configure symbologies, data editing and interfaces with configuration barcodes or the Windows-based CipherLab ScanMaster software; OPOS supported and 15 keyboard languages.
• Works in any light – reads reliably in ambient light up to 100,000 lux, even outdoors.
