Zebra LS1203 Wired Barcode Scanner (LS1203-7AZU0100SR)

The Zebra LS1203 (formerly Symbol LS1203) is an affordable corded 1D laser barcode scanner built for small shops and everyday checkout use – light, comfortable and durable. It reads all common 1D (linear) barcodes at 100 scans per second, standard EAN/UPC codes from contact up to about 21 cm, connects to USB, RS232 and keyboard wedge hosts with the matching cable, and comes with a 3-year (36-month) Zebra warranty. Please note: as a 1D laser scanner, it does not read 2D codes such as QR codes, nor barcodes shown on phone screens. This version, LS1203-7AZU0100SR, comes in black (Twilight Black) and is supplied with a USB cable and a gooseneck stand – ready to plug in and scan, handheld or hands-free. The same kit is also available as the EMEA edition LS1203-7AZU0100ER.

• Reliable 1D laser scanning – 100 scans per second and a bright 650 nm laser line read all common 1D barcodes (EAN/UPC, Code 128, GS1-128, Code 39, Interleaved 2 of 5, GS1 DataBar and more) accurately at the first attempt.
• Made for the checkout counter – reads standard EAN/UPC (13 mil) barcodes from contact up to 21.5 cm and larger 26 mil codes up to 26 cm – ideal for close-range scanning of products, labels and documents.
• 1D only – please check your barcodes – the LS1203 reads linear barcodes printed on paper labels, packaging and documents. It does not read QR codes, Data Matrix or other 2D codes, nor barcodes shown on phone screens; for those, choose the Zebra DS2208 2D scanner.
• Three interfaces in one scanner – USB, RS232 and keyboard wedge (KBW) are built in; you only need the matching cable. Simple plug-and-play USB connection; RS232 connections require an external power supply.
• Handheld or hands-free – choose triggered scanning or Auto-Scan (continuous) mode; in the optional gooseneck stand the LS1203 works as a hands-free presentation scanner.
• Durable single-board construction – designed for all-day, every-day use; withstands repeated 1.5 m drops to concrete and is backed by a 3-year Zebra warranty.
• Light and ergonomic – just 122 g with a balanced, comfortable shape; intuitive to use, so staff are scanning within minutes.
