Print ORLEN Paczka labels on a thermal label printer (100×150)

ORLEN Paczka delivers to "automaty paczkowe" (parcel lockers), ORLEN stations and partner points across Poland. Its label is 10 cm wide and 14 cm high, so it fits a standard 100×150 mm thermal label. This guide shows where the label format is set and how to print it on a Zebra, TSC or Honeywell label printer.

Before you start

How you get the label depends on how you send:

• Occasional parcels: the online sending form ("Formularz nadań") on orlenpaczka.pl. After paying, you print the label or generate a sending code ("kod nadania") and send without a label.
• Webshops: ORLEN Paczka's own plugins for WooCommerce, PrestaShop and Magento, or the API.
• Allegro sellers: "Manager Przesyłek" (shipment manager), ORLEN Paczka's web tool for Allegro orders and CSV imports.

Plugins and the API need business access data (PartnerID and PartnerKey). ORLEN Paczka emails them when your business agreement is activated; your account manager can resend them.

Know the ORLEN Paczka label

ORLEN Paczka's label specification describes a label 10 cm wide and 14 cm high. Lockers and points read it by scanning, so the barcode and 2D code must print sharp and complete.

Choose the label format

The API documentation lists five values for the label format field Format:

Zebra desktop printers such as the ZD220, ZD230 and ZD421 support ZPL II and EPL2. TSC printers use TSPL-EZD, which TSC lists as compatible with EPL and ZPL. Honeywell PC42E printers emulate them with ZSim2 (ZPL II) and ESim (EPL). If you are unsure, use PDF.

The PrestaShop plugin asks for the format when you generate a label and offers PDF. The WooCommerce and Magento manuals describe no format setting, so test-print the first label they produce.

Load labels and set the driver

Use direct thermal 100×150 mm labels, for example our 100×150 mm labels, 500 pcs or the eco labels, 1000 pcs. "40 g" and "76 g" are the core diameter in millimetres; check it against your printer's specification. Calibrate after loading a new roll.

In Printing preferences, set the paper size to 100×150 mm, portrait: Media Settings in the Zebra ZDesigner driver, a new Stock in the TSC (Seagull) driver, or the media size in Honeywell InterDriver. Step-by-step help: Zebra, TSC, Honeywell PC42E.

Print the PDF at the right size

1. Open the label PDF and choose Print, then your label printer.
2. Check the PDF's page size. If it is 100×150 mm, print at actual size (100 %). For any other page size, choose Fit to page.
3. If the PDF is an A4 page with several labels on it, don't shrink it onto one label: the barcodes get too thin. Use another label format if your tool offers one, or ask ORLEN Paczka business support.
4. Print one label and scan the barcode and the 2D code with a scanner or phone.
5. If the print is pale, raise darkness one step; if bars run together, lower darkness or speed.

Print from your webshop or Manager Przesyłek

• WooCommerce (10.0 or newer): in ORLEN Paczka › Historia nadań (Shipment history), select orders, choose "Zbiorcze generowanie etykiet" (Bulk label generation) and "Zastosuj" (Apply). Print with "Drukuj etykietę" (Print label), also available in the order under "Przesyłki do zamówienia". More in WooCommerce shipping labels on a thermal printer.
• PrestaShop: select orders, then "Działania masowe" › "Generuj etykietę" (Bulk actions › Generate label), choose PDF and confirm. "Pobierz etykietę" (Download label) saves it. "Generuj ponownie" (Regenerate) creates a new parcel number and cancels the old label.
• Magento: "Utwórz etykietę wysyłki" (Create shipping label) when you ship the order, "Wydrukuj etykietę wysyłkową" (Print shipping label) in the shipment, and "Drukuj etykiety adresowe" (Print address labels) for several shipments selected in Sprzedaż › Dostawy (Sales › Shipments).
• Manager Przesyłek: select Allegro orders or imported shipments and print the labels. Generate the handover protocol (manifest) as well; ORLEN Paczka requires it for every handover of parcels collected by its logistics.
