RAM Mounts GDS Tab-Conn for Tablets Without Case, D-Shape & Rear Pogo Pads, Grey (RAM-GDS-TABC-B1DB-GRY) is a low-profile, self-adhesive adapter that brings IntelliSkin features to tablets used without a case. It protects the USB-C port behind an integrated pogo-pin connection and opens up the GDS ecosystem – vehicle docks, desktop and kiosk docks, mass charging and ergonomic accessories – without buying new cases or devices. It combines a bottom D-Shape connector (data up to USB 3.1, 5 Gbps) for GDS Uni-Conn docks with flat rear pogo pads for GDS Powered Uni-Conn docks, so one adapter covers both dock types. An external USB-C 2.0 port still allows charging with a standard cable when no dock is available. The light grey finish suits bright workplaces such as retail and healthcare.

Compatibility

• Tablets with a USB-C charging port (Micro-USB and Lightning are not supported)
• Bare tablets up to 7.6 mm (0.3") thick with a flat, smooth back
• USB-C port centred in the device thickness, with at least 51 mm (2") of free width on each side; the adapter must not cover the rear camera
• GDS Uni-Conn docks (via the D-Shape connector)
• GDS Powered Uni-Conn docks with rear pogo pins (marked with the Powered Uni-Conn Adapter emblem)
• GDS shoulder strap and Uni-Conn belt clip holder (sold separately)
